23/4/2025 – 🌍 YOU DANCE – April Recap: A Month of Movement, Culture & Connection
April was a month to remember for the YOU DANCE project! Our first international mobility took place in Maribor, Slovenia, where young participants from Slovenia, Romania, Serbia, and Latvia came together to explore dance as a tool for cultural exchange and youth empowerment.
During the five-day exchange, we:
- Got to know each other through energizers and team-building games
- Explored Maribor’s cultural landmarks during an interactive city tour
- Participated in creative workshops and choreographed original group dances
- Reflected on dance as a medium for social connection and tradition
- Culminated the week with an exhilarating public flashmob performance
- Celebrated our participants’ achievements with a diploma ceremony
This mobility wasn’t just about dancing—it was about learning, bonding, and creating a sense of belonging through shared movement.
