A transformative learning experience for young youth workers, where dance becomes a tool for activity, growth, connection, and inclusion.

from 7.-11. April Maribor became a living laboratory of movement, inclusion, and creativity for 20 youth workers from Slovenia, Serbia, Romania and Latvia

Youth Mobility in Maribor (April 2025)
- A week-long program that empowered young youth workers through dance-based workshops, mindfulness practices, and intercultural exchange.
- Participants developed key competences: strengthened their ability to use dance and movement as tools for inclusive and creative learning.
- Participants gained experience in designing non-formal activities that promote wellbeing, managing group dynamics, and facilitating cooperation.
- Through international collaboration, they improved their communication, intercultural sensitivity, and confidence. The project also enhanced their self-awareness, emotional expression, and understanding of how physical activity supports mental health and resilience.

Key good practices document
- A structured guide with tested methods and practical insights on using dance and movement in youth work, including digital wellbeing, team-building, and inclusive participation.
Mobility evaluation
- The YOU DANCE mobility project explored how dance and movement can enhance youth work through creative methods, group dynamics, and self-expression. Participants reported high satisfaction across all activities, highlighting strong impacts on teamwork, communication, body awareness, and intercultural understanding.

- First newsletter highlights the YOU DANCE mobility in Maribor (April 2025), where youth workers from four countries explored dance as a tool for wellbeing, connection, and creativity. It also includes a summary of key good practices from the project.
Newsletter 2
- Second YOU DANCE newsletter wraps up the international dissemination phase, showcasing live and online events held across Slovenia, Latvia, Serbia, and Romania. It highlights the final online conference, key outcomes, and the release of the Good Practices Handbook.
